Great time at the Berkshire International Film Festival!

June 5, 2019

Co-Producer/Supporting Actress Lori Singleton and Director Sarah Schwab had a great time at the Berkshire International Film Festival last weekend. The first day was spent at Doug Trumbull's house/studio (best known for his special photographic effects of "2001: A Space Odyssey," "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," "Blade Runner" and "The Tree of Life") and listening to a talk lead by Barbara Kopple (two-time Academy Award winning documentarian).

Day two was a packed day filled with talks by industry professionals, including Producer/Writer/Director Darren Dean (responsible for producing Sean Baker's "The Florida Project" and "Tangerine"), followed by an opening night party where they made friends with fellow Buffalo native, Director/Writer/Actor William Fichtner.

"'A' My Name Is" screened on day three! Lead actress, Samarah Conley, came up for the screening and the Q&A afterward.

On the final day, they watched a dozen hysterical/heart-wrenching/chilling short films. They then wrapped the whole festival up by closing a bar with the filmmakers of all three short sets in Great Barrington.

Such a great experience! They're humbled and inspired by this talented and forward-thinking group of artists.
